Head lice are parasites that you get when you share combs, clothes, caps and brushes with somebody.

Olive Oil

The use of olive oil is very effective to fight lice. It has the property to suffocate lice and kill parasites. Comb your hair first before applying olive oil and gently massage the hair scalp. Use shower cap to cover your scalp and leave it overnight.

Mayonnaise

Apply mayonnaise on your hair and massage your scalp for some minutes. Use shower cap and leave it overnight then wash it in the next day using shampoo. Then, comb the hair to remove eggs.

Combine 1/4 cup of salt and 1/4 cup of warm water in a spray bottle. Spray this to your hair and leave it to dry. Then apply your hair and scalp with coconut or olive oil. Better , soak your hair with the mixture for at least 8 hours or all night.

Onion

Onions can kill lice and eggs because of its sulfur content. Just blend onions to make a paste. Then extract the juice from it and apply to your hair and put on shower cap. Leave it for about 2-3 hours. Wash it off using shampoo and dry it. Do this treatment for three days and every once a month.
